Trying to Identify a unit

Hi,

I received documents today from the Volksbund on a possible family member. The name and town are right, I just don't know his birth date. How ever I do know which branch of service he was in. So is the unit Luftwaffe or Heer?
The unit on the document is 1.Fl.Rgt.29.Ffm, also they have his Erkennungsmarke Geb.Jg.Ers.u.Ausb.Btl.100 Berchtesgaden. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Geb.Jg.Ers.u.Ausb.Btl.100=Moutain Jager Replacement and training Btl 100 Berchetsgarden (Army)
