Has anyone ever heard of the Bremer pass being discovered by the Allies?

IMO – and in this case I think it counts! – no one will ever get through the Bremer pass. But perhaps the Brenner pass...

I know this is far fetched in vague, but did the Germans ever have a "secret" base located in the pass, perhaps in a mountain along the pass, perhaps discovered by the Allies?

THAT'S WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR!

My Grandpa Wolff said he was in the C.I.D. and won the Silver Star for finding this. I'll have to read and see if the story holds water.
