Looking for a ME262 pilot

Hi

I hope you can help me.

I'm looking for a ME262 pilot who started flying the 262 late in the war.

Before this he flew the JU88 model.

His surname is Helmut, he's from the northern part of Germany - and he survived the war.

That's all I unfortunately can tell you - I hope there are some LW experts here on WAF.

Unfortunately that is not a lot to go on. What is needed is a last name or a unit and some time reference.

Helmut Baudach(oberfeldwebel) KDO Nowotny,JG7 5 kills with the me262 KIA 6/4/45.
only two helmut's i found

Helmut lennartz claimed the first B17 to be dowend by a me262(WKnr170063 white 9) on 15 august 1944 over stuttgart. found the info in Osprey aircraft of the aces n17, german jet aces of ww2

it says nothing about him flying a ju88 ,before he was with II./JG 11 (bf109)

I know it's REALLY hard.

The guy I'm looking for used to fly the JU88 - and in the last days he was transferred to the 262 with just a few hours behind the steering pin.

But don't waiste any more time - it's probably impossible to find Helmuth.
