Could anyone provide me the following information: What would the maps look like that the germans would have used during operations in Finland during 1944? Who would have had the maps during intense fighting? Did the"common" soldier ever have a map, or was that primarily something officers/higher ranks would have had control of? Thank you for any answers.

At the lower level they were regular 1:50 000 maps, further up 1:100 000, 300 000 and more were used.
Who had a map was down to role rather than rank. Depending on the role and of course availability it was very similar to a modern army. ie. the section leader of a patrol, platoon leader etc.
Here are a few examples.
German produced map in 1:1 000 000. These are from microfilm which is why they're in black and white.
Two maps in 1: 50 000
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
