Hello Everyone,

A friend of mine has this para helmet. Here's a shot of the name on the rim. We thought this name to be unique and are hoping someone may produce information on this soldier. Notice the backwards "S".

There are two Witzlsteiner's on the German War Graves site but neither held rank above Private.
Also, there are no Witzlsteiner's with high awards, i.e. Honour Roll Clasp, German Cross in Gold, Knight's Cross etc.
