Oberstleutnant Haberland took over command of Pz Gren Regt 3 on 20th April 1944.

thanks for the fast answer. I checked with my award document, but it doesn't seem to be this guy. I have attached a scan, perhaps you can give me more info about the OU on this panzerkampf award document.

And there it is!

Looks like Haberland to me. The first three letters are Hab..the l is in there and the last letter looks like a d (although rather squashed).

the previous CO was Oberstlt. Fleischauer and the next one was Oberstlt. Weymann. It certainly isn't either of those.
