Hey all, I need a little help. This particular regiment Schwere Kp./SS-Pz.Rgt.3

Who was in overall command? Does anybody know where abouts it was serving?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The commander of SS-PzRgt 3 TK listed on July 1st 1944 was Sturmbannführer LAACKMANN Anton, SS-Nr 37141 (born 8.5.1910) he was promoted 9.11.44. and kept command untill ferbruary '45
On the 1.3.45 SS-Officer Roster there was no name filled in.
Possibly the commander of 1st battalion, Sturmbannführer BERLIN Anton (SS Nr 42981 - born 16.2.1914) assumed command, as he was listed as being the last commander of the regiment.

What part of the SS was this? Das reich? Totenkopf? Im not sure.

What was the name of this unit?

SS-Panzerregiment 3 belonged to 3 SS-PzDiv "TOTENKOPF".
It had 2 PzAbt : - I : Panther
- II :Pz IV
In addition there was a heavy Coy (Tiger ?)
