    Flak-Abteilung 390

    I am looking for any information concerning Flak-Abteilung 390
    I believe this unit was equpped with 88mm anti aircraft guns and were based around the city of Bremmen in 1943.
    Any information would be great.

    schw.Flak-Abt. 390(o) was a stationary Abteilung formed in May 1943 and spent the entire was as Flakuntergruppe Vegesack under Flak-Rgt. 26 (Flakgruppe Bremen-Nord)/8. Flak-Div. All of its 6 batteries were equipped with 8.8 cm guns. IIRC, Vegesack was the location of a large U-boat ship-building yard.
