HI i am looking to help a friend and would like to know where the regiment were during the campaign in the east.
Anything would be a help.O.O.B,knights cross holders and any major battles they took part in

I've found that you can always locate some basic information by simply doing a Google search- I typed in 'panzer regiment 39' and got hits like:

http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/town/av...y75/gerobs.htm (so at least part of Panzer-Regiment 39 fought at Kursk)

As they were part of the 17. Panzer-Division, searching for that should give you lots of information too.
