    More inf about photo, GBJ?

    Can anyone tell me where he belonged too?

    1) Which abzeichen does he wear on his Schiffchen? (Sidecap)


    It should be a Edelweiß but I don't seem to find anything with GBJ 29

      If that's a 29 on the shoulder strap i'd go for it being infanterie regiment 29 of the 3 Inf.Div. and the emblem he's wearing being a traditions badge for that division, one which we know existed.

        Thought the '9' looks also like a '3'. But the seller says 29 and is 'almost' sure about that so.. Could be. I think I'll buy it when it turns out to be a three you'll hear me.

        Just for my knowledge and information, a GBJ Reg 29 never excisted? (Sturm/ski/Bau/...) what about GBJ 23?

          Look at the waffenfarbe, it's infantry white not jäger/GJ green.

            That's true. But look at this one, just the same, Waffenfarbe is white but look at the Waffenfarbe on his Schirmmütze.
