Art.Rgt.260 was the artillery regiment of 260.Infanterie-Division.

Regiment commanders: Oberst Schmidt, Haenle, Meyer.

Art.Ers.Abt.260 was stationed in Ludwigsburg (WK VI) and was reserve unit of Art.Rgt.260.

Are you searching for names, or?

            260. I.D. Wehrpass

            Hi Yancy,

I have a Wehrpass to a Gefreiter who served with I.R. 480, 260. I.D. from August 1939 to June 1941 (he was wounded or fell ill, if I remember correctly). After being discharged from active service in February 1942, he was recalled to Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 111, 11. Panzer-Division in 1943 and was MIA in Habodingen/Lorraine in November 1944. There is a bit about him at http://www.zeltbahn.net/wehrpass/wp_pz.htm

And I still owe you an explanation of the entries from your Militärpass. I haven't forgotten, but I have only very little information on Armierungs units. I am also drafting a brief guide to Militärpässe to be added to the second link shown below.

            /David
