Thank you, but it does not then. I need a place where soldiers then brought together.
I am interested in places filtering German prisoners of war. The place where they met with the permission of the Soviet armii.I waited for further guidance Soviet army. Filtering and correspondence, documents.

I know what you're after, the same kind of thing that i have for the German army in Norway, a list of the reservations (camps) they were gathered into after the surrender. Some of the best places to go looking for relics.

Soviet records i would have thought would be the best place to look, perhaps even Latvian if they exist. Other than that, ask locals from that generation if they remember.

I am not entirely sure from the German army's perspective, but Latvian legionnaires who surrendered in Kurzeme were sent to the following POW and filtration camps:
POW Camps:

Kuldiga, Grieze, Kandava and there were a number of others that I don't know the names of.

Those who were to be sent to gulags in distant parts of the USSR were moved through filtration camps in Jelgava, Riga and Daugavpils.


These locations were probably the same for the Germans as well. There are many books in Latvian on the history of Latvia in the second world war, mainly concerning the Latvian Legion, but obviously containing information on the Battle of Kurland. I suggest you consult your local library as they should have a wealth of information on this topic. Also you could try this website it is excellent for these kind of enquiries:
