    LW flak/nachrichten stellung

I have this question that i can't find the answer for. In holland there where several LW rader sides that worked along with the nightfighters at, for example Leeuwarden airport.
There are 2 radar posts that i'm interested in, one was Löwe in Marum (Groningen) and the other was Gazelle in Veendam (operating in 42, also Groningen). These posts where used by nachrichten units but around the site there where also some flak guns. I've been searching for a while now to find the flak units that belong to these 2 posts but can't find any.

I have 2 options for this:
    - Within the nachrichten units there where specialist that operated the flak guns
    - There was a flak unit aswell as an nachrichten unit.

I hope someone can answer my question.

    Thanks in advance

The only Flak capability organic to an Ln.-Funkmeßstelle was the tripod-mounted 13.7 mm schwere MG. The tripod was very tall, perhaps 2 meters. Any other Flak emplaced on or adjacent to the Stelle would have been provided by and manned by Flak personnel from a Luftwaffe Flak unit.

It is very difficult to determine which Flak-Abt., if any, would have been protecting Ln.-Funkmeßstellen in the northeast corner of Holland. It certainly would have been no more than a Flak-Zug (Platoon - 40 to 50 men) with 2 cm and 3.7 cm leichte Flak for each Stelle.

There are several excellent Dutch study groups devoted to the air war in Holland 1940-45 that might have more information. You might be able to contact them through this URL, although it is old:

Here is another site that specializes in Funkmeßstellen where you might be able to find some helpful information:
