Hello all,
I have several Feldpost letters from what appears to be a nurse writing to her husband at home in Germany.
Unfortunately, several letters are missing and I only have empty envelopes.
One of the letters is dated 1/2/44 and bears FPN 37291.
Another empty envelope, dated 5/6/41 bears the FPN 33787.
Lastly, a complete letter (in green ink) with an envelope addressed in dark brown ink dated 25/6/44 seems to describe action around the Cherbourg area of France.
This letter has a very small newspaper cutting enclosed telling a a battlegroup under the command of a Major Messerschmidt.
I think this letter has been written by the husband to his wife. The letter bears FPN 05874G.
Can anyone help to trace these FPN for my please?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
John.
