I came across this site today. Not quite sure if this should be placed here. Has some short bio's of General Officers from around the world. Possibly it will be of use to someone here. Maybe it's old news to you?

That site is certainly useful for the occasional, casual user, but it lacks sufficient detail for the serious researcher. Compare that site's listing for German generals with this site's:

http://www.geocities.com/~orion47/

I think Steen Ammentorp's site only gives the top generals for the larger countries, and many of his listings are incomplete.
