      Any Flak regiments/divisions?
The Lw Flak was 1. and 2. batterien of s. Flak Abt. 122 (after the raid of 42 and until august 44 ; the rest of this unit was in Picardy). A radar station was hold by 23. Kp (Flugmelde) Lg Nachr. Regt. Belgien Nordfrankreich. In 4. 43, this one was renamed 15. Kp. Luftnachr. Regt. 52.

I do not know why a Ski-Jager unit would be in the area, perhaps they were on leave after many hard months in Russia during the Spring and Winter, and were quickly called up to stop the invasion. I would love to know more information. Good luck in your research.

Rebuilding, retraining after the winter. Once the snow's gone a Ski unit is just another light infantry unit after all.

On 19 August 1942, gem.Flak-Abt. 122(v) was at Boulogne, according to frequent mention in the German Verlustmeldungen. It did not report any losses for 19 August or any days near that date. It may have been ordered to transport schwere Batterien 1 and 2 south to Dieppe on the 19th, but these two batteries may not have arrived until after the fighting was over.

On the other hand, 23.(schwere Flugmelde)/Luftgau-Nachr.Rgt. Belgien/Nordfrankreich was definitely in the vicinity of Dieppe operating a heavy radar site with a Würzburg and a Freya that covered the coast from Abbeville to Le Havre. It reported 1 man killed and 2 wounded by ground fire at Dieppe on 19 August.

Thanks for your additions, Larry. As I wrote, the 1. and 2./s Flak Abt 122 were sent in Dieppe after the raid (when exactly ?), in order to reinforce the strengh of Stützpunkte. The 1. batterie was in "Le Puys" et 2. batterie au "Pollet" (noth ans south of town), in bunkers still in place today. One Messgerät Wurzburg "Anton" was in Janval, no far away.

                For le.Flak-Abt. 732(v) I have:

1/42, 8/42, 2/43: reported losses in the Doullens-Yvrench area/30 km north of Amiens (Loss Reports).
                11/43: Beauvais under Flak-Rgt. 656 (Beauvais).
                12/43: Abt. moved to Dieppe.
3/44: as Flakuntergruppe Dieppe under Flak-Rgt. 431 (Lille).

Do you know the date when 1. u.3. Batterien were first identified in Dieppe?

Thanks a lot for the interesting additions. Unfortunatly, I have no date for the both arrival of the units of Flak Abt 122 and 732.
