    Frigettan Kapitan Walter Wiebe

I recently got a document grouping for a KM officer and iv'e been looking for anything else that may have belonged to him. I've got 4 documents of his that are from his Naval Academy schooling during the First World War and I have two award documents of his one is a Twelve year service doc and the other is for a KVK II w Swords. If any body could help me find out about him or find more things of his it would be greatly appreciated.

Born 6. sept.1889 in Schönhorst, promoted Kapitän zur See 1. Apr.41

From Jul.1935 until April 1945 he was leader of Abwehrstelle Stettin (counter-espionage office for military district II)

    He died 4 march 1961

Read up on the activities of his command in this very good thread at Feldgrau

Looks like you've got some documents to an interesting officer there. google his name along with 'abwehr'. I think you've got some fascinating research potential here if you're into it.
