I really need your help.

Dos anyone here know if there exist a list of names of officers from the Germania Regiment?

Would it be possible to find the name of the guy having his initials and rank?

Initials: MB

Possible transferred to another regiment or division during the war

It is possible, but it would mean looking through all the 'B' surnames. Even then, you may have more than one MB who served in Germania. A date would help the investigation further as it may narrow down possibilities.

Not impossible, but would take a bit of work and success would not be guaranteed.

I think the name might be Danish but I don´t know. A few items belonging to him were found here in Denmark some years back.

Also a medal bar from service in WW1 were amongst the items...but it might just be an souvenir as the Russian like insignia also in the lot
