I was wondering if someone could give me a breakdown of a basic Infantry Reg during the years 41-42.Things like how many companys,battalions and did each company have a specific role(MG) for example?If so which companys were named for this,EG always company7 was MG?.
I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not but the setup that I am interested in is for an Infantry division.
