Reserve-Grenadier-Regiment 205

Hello,

I would like to ask if someone could help me with some information about the Reserve-Grenadier-Regiment 205.
The reason that i would like to know is because i wrote to the Deutsche Dienststelle for information about a Normandy fallen soldier named Walter Käser.
They wrote me the following information:

Erkennungsmarke: -2584- Stkp. Jg. E. B. 75

Dienstgrad: Jäger

Meldung:
19.10.1943 Reserve-Grenadier-Regiment 205 Besancon

Can anyone give me information about this regiment and under which Division it fell?

I would like to know what kind of division it was, wehrmacht,luftwaffe,ss etc.
I am not such a researcher more a collector
