Yep, it sure does. And once those tracks come off, it's the end of the line. That one still has its Kanone intact.

      Hello Larry

Thanks for your help so far. I have also some documents from a member from stug brigade 244. One is signed by General Lt. Sander commander of the 245 ID. This division was in Moerdijk at that time. The document is signed on 4 november 1944. Gefreiter Bormann from the documents was in Zevenbergsche Hoek a few miles from Moerdijk. We will probably never now.

      Regards Erwin

Yes, Erwin, it's probably too late to try and locate any survivors for further information..........too many years have gone by.

I know Larry, but I hope I can find it out one day. Here some pictures of the documents from Martin Bormann from Stug Brig 244.

Zevenbergshe Hoek is 3/4 miles from Bruckenkopf Moerdijk. Signature is from RKtrager Robert Haas who died in St Vith during the Battle of the Bulge

Wehrmachtsbericht which I found in the back of the wehrpass. Here they speak about the loss of 2 panzers of their own.

Thanks Larry, I also got the Sturmabzeichen award document belonging to this group with Hauptman Jaschke signature. Probably for his actions in Holland in november 1944
