    Can any kind soul help confirm FP01239AD and What is 5.FL.B.K. Gotenhafen....Baukompanie?, as ever thanks, Paul

      It belonged to 5 Freileitungs Bau Kompanie which existed during the second half of 1944 in Nevers, France

        Nope, look again at what was asked, the number has AD at the end, that always indicates a 'Sammel-Feldpostnummer' or collective Fp number used by towns and cities for small independent units and offices.

          I checkd but i only found this or 01239 A
          no 01239 AD...that s why i tho my post was right.
          Can u tell me where to look ifon tessin please?

            You're using the CD aren't you? I've heard that it's not always as easy or accurate. I'm using Kannapin's books rather than the CD, doesn't it include the collective FP numbers?

              I am yes...im afraid it doesnt include those FP you mean.
              Kannapin s books are more accurate than the Tessin?expansive the same i guess?

                The CD does include the collective Sammel-feldpostnummer's in one of its subdirectories. If you make a search using the function on the CD it will take you to:

                AD (18.5.1944-19.12.1944) 27.7.1944 5. Freileitungs-Bau-Kompanie,
                (20.12.1944-8.5.1945) 30.1.1945 gestrichen.

                  i dont have the cd but a Zipped word file which i though would include everything.i ll try to check if i can find the Sammel-feldpostnummer.
