                Hello Vyacheslav,

                first, you're wrong some names.

                Hans-Gunter Lange = Hans-Günther Lange,
                Rolf Hermihen = Rolf Hermichen
                Paul Tsorner = Paul Zorner
                Shverdfeger Johann ?
                Gerhard Simons
                Henry Steering ?
                Heinz Rekker = Heinz Rökker
                Walter Shook = Walter Schuck
                Hermann Greiner
                Kurt Dahlmann

Mr. Walter Schuck doesn't answer and he moved.

= Johann Schwerdfeger, he doesn´t reply anymore. Also like Zorner, Simons, Greiner, Dahlmann, Lange and Hermichen.

These people are most likely in their 90's and their handwriting is not
easy for them unless they are getting help. Its a chore for them
so its understandable that many no longer answer.

I think they do not respond because they write ptsma to sign a large number of photographs of children, plus all you need to send the answers and that money and those who sell autographed photos of veterans on ebay, bad doing it!

In the 70's, 80's & 90's I wrote to just over 1,200 RKT's. I received 958 photo's. I visited over 200 of them. Went to 3 OdR reunions. It was fun then and I was just the right age then. NOW they are old & I am old. I think it is TIME ALL of YOU STOP bothering these old men and leave them at peace in their final years. Enough is enough. I have contacted the OdR and guess what !!!...they feel the same way !!! Tom

Tom is certainly correct that you say we leave the elderly alone and so forth, but you have 958 photos 958 ! , We also want to get autographs , it's not a helmet or helmet ss German paratroopers that cost a fortune if you there would be no autographs and you would have them just started collecting , I would agree with you , but when you're doing it 30 years ! I'm sorry but many of those who now wants to get an autograph could not be born in one year with you ... many of us who now writes playing lotyreyu veterans , veterans can sign or may not sign it eligible veterans , and we are trying to do just ... Incidentally Gosopdin Harald Nugiseks signed to me personally your photos 24-25 December 2013 ..... Here is some food for thought , what that veterans willingly sign and what that refuse letters in the mail , or simply do not respond .

You have a point. Not every Veteran will respond regardless
and those that want to, will.

If one is polite and send enough money to cover postage which is expensive
for someone on a pension and maybe a little more (check how much they are asking at ebay or any militaria shop) and give it to the Veteran. He may r may not respond depending on many things like health, eye sight
                              etc.

Key point is to be polite and respectful in the request.

Well, if you don't get a reply, that's it! They can just choose to answer or not!
Are some Veterans really disturbed about getting letters? If they started answering letters and signing cards one time I don't think that letters will stop coming in their mailboxes. I know many Veterans that are over 90-years old and still like to sign cards.

Like Annelie said; Send a respectfull amount of money and be polite, and I think they could answer no matter what age.
