    Gen Dietrich Beelitz

    I need some information on Oberst/ Gen Dietrich Beelitz. I have basic background on his career found through searching the forum. I do however need information on his awards and anything else. I know there is a reference in this book Die General des Heeres by Wolf Keilig, but I don't have access to it neither do I understand German. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Jacques

                  It says his health is not back to where it was before and he tries to offset this by applying himself with greater energy and exertion. Yet I see no evidence of him being wounded, so he must have driven himself to the point of exhaustion and then caught a bug and taken ill.
