Hello All,

Would any kind soul out there have any information on a Norwegian Waffen SS volunteer? All I have is rank and name: W-SS Untersturmfuhrer Fredrik Jensen. My thanks in advance,

Frederik Jensen was born on March 25 1921 in Oslo. He received the DKiG on December 7 1944 as a SS-Obersturmfuhrer and Fuhrer of the 7./SS-Panzergreanadieregt 9 "Germania" of the Wiking division.

He was the only Norwegian DKiG winner.

This is an very, very old thread, but I find it interesting to share the latest news around this Norwegian Waffen-SS veteran. The last two days there have been hectic for this him. All the Norwegian newspapers have written about him, and the news have also found its way to The Independent.

The paper write "A Norwegian Nazi who served in the SS and was awarded the Gold Cross by Hitler has been discovered living in Marbella on the Costa del Sol in Spain". I dont understand this as he never tryed to hide. Its not a secret that he live there. The Norwegian newspapers also write bull, but that again is pretty normal when the newspapers write about the Norwegian Waffen-SS soldiers.
