    Sütterlinschrift

    I would like help on the name of this Hauptmann. I cannot tell if there are 6 letters or 5. It is sort of a mix of Sutterlin with the later style.

    This is from a book presented to him for his DKiG I would guess?

        Found him

        He was killed a couple days before the War ended and is buried in Samland. Search engines are amazing. Thanks again. For me it makes the book that more interesting and valuable historically.
