List of Kreisleiters? (looking for Kolmar)

[WWII researcher]

I'm normally a military collector and researcher, but I have something that was presented by the Kreisleiter of Kolmar in 1940, and I'm trying to find out who he was. The award is dated 1940, and reflects work between 1939-40. According to information I've found, Heinz Mell was Kreisleiter in 1941, but I don't know if he was there in 1939 & 40. Does anyone have a list of Kreisleiters? Your help would be much appreciated.

Having the same trouble -- and I have a name. I am told the German government has the records if you succeed but not sure how to contact that department.

Try this web site. After joining, if you are not already a member, go to this sub-forum and pose your question. I already searched using "Kolmar" but without any luck. There are regulars there who probably have the books that contain the answer.
