Post your unattributed SS Dagger numbers

    Hi

I thought it may be a reasonable idea to start a thread on SS dagger numbers that you have so far failed to attribute.

We can keep track of these numbers in the hope that we can put a name to the number, either now, or in the future.

I will add the numbers to the top of the thread as we go along.

It is worth noting that this is a thread for members and by members and not as leads for fee-paying research services.

        Hi

No luck with those two, but at least if we have them up as a reference, I and other members can keep checking back from time to time.

        Keep them coming

The number on my first SS Dagger that caused me to start my SS Officer Research Service over 30 years ago and that is still unidentified is: 269346 on a Pack M33 near mint dagger.

I have an early-period, serialized SS 1933 Gottlieb Hammesfahr which I have so far been unable to attribute to the original owner. My dagger is in great condition, with it's original hanger and belt loop attachment. It's also district-stamped with the Roman Numeral III for Dresden, if that makes any difference.

            My dagger's serial number is:

            251 732

Please let me know, if you can find any information about it. That would be great!

Thanks in advance for your help!

            Chris
