Name in Helmet

Please could somebody help me I have posted an FJ helmet on the FJ forum which does have a name in it which looks like Lt Gassmann , Having checked the German War Graves Site I found this information, Lt Karl Gassmann who died on the 25.09.1944 and is buried in Andilly (France).
Could any body have any more information or know any thing about this officer.
