    can someone help me with this name

    i think its

    Krosigh

    From the image is certainly looks like Krosigh, or Keosigh

      It is "v(on) Krosigk" - a still existing German noble family.

        If the abbreviation of his rank (after the name) gives Oberstleutnant (?),

        than in 1939 we find an Ernst - Anton von Krosigk as instructor at the

        Kriegsakademie.

          He was a Major at the time, later became general and held the oakleaves.

          There are other Krosigk listed, what's the rank on the coat?

                He must have ordered the coat for his comissioning. The was a Lt.von Krosigk, comissioned 1.9.38 that belonged to 10./IR 87 in january 1939.

                I think there's a good bet this is your man. IR 87 was part of the 36 ID and it was in the right area in June '40 for this to be him.

                  but if the jacket says oberluitnant
                  then why is he listed as a killed luitnant

                  didnt he wear the coat??

                    he is in there at the letter K

                    also ranked luitnant

                    so its strange is he was killed as a luitnant but ranked oberluitnant

                      Incorrect ranks are quite common on the volksbund DB, especially within one rank of each other, so i wouldn't worry too much about that.
