As you can see, from October '44 the number belonged to LAH's field replacement battalion, are you sure the letter at the end is an H ?

no not sure it's an advert for missing person in der freiwillige as him in the lah with that feldpost number.if a member of the field replacement battalion would that class as a member of the lah.

Yes, he was in the LAH. A division's field replacement battalion was part of the division and was with it in the field.
