i bought a german helmet ( luftwaffe) recently there is a name in it
its hard to read the N&R are hard to read

Hi tony,

in the recent German phonebook there are listed 490 Sonnabend.

The name m u s t be Sonnabend because Sonnrabend is not a German name and you will not find even one in the phonebook.

in the German phone book are only listet the 490 (German) family names

Sonnabend with their addresses (town, street) and the phone number.

I think it would be very difficult to contact all these phone numbers in Germany

and ask for that guy you are looking for.

In the date base of the German Volksbund Kriegsräberfürsorge are liste 94 graves with Sonnabend - most of them WWII.

One should know the first name and/or the unit.
