Hope thats enough for the first

      Listen this, too:

A most commendable contribution, Manuel! I contratulate you. The only thing missing is a listing of the hundreds and hundreds of RAD units that were deployed in the UdSSR to work on roads, fortifications and other construction projects, and that were assigned to Flakartillerie-Batterien in the Reich and outside the Reich. Do you have a list of those?

            Hey @all,

I got my source from here:

            http://forum.balsi.de/index.php?topic=2060.0

            @BHS:

the Infos where you are looking for are still in the War Diary Books of the Wehrmacht.
The Books are in the Bundesarchiv Freiburg, Germany.
Infos to find outside the Bundesarchiv are very heavy or luck.

I use Google.de to find some Infos in Germany.

            see you
            Manuel

Yes, that is true, Manuel. Actually, they are in die Anlagen zum Kriegstagebücher des Heeresgruppen und Armeeoberkommandos. But these are very incomplete.

Great information on the RAD units and appreciate the thorough effort to put this together.

I am in reciept of a mint RAD buckle that is unit dye stamped on the leather. In reviewing the unit associations, I did not come across this one. This just lends to questions on it's actual existance and the authenticity of the stamp.

Any help to properly identify would be greatly appreciated. Here are the photos.

It seems that the three-digit numbers always follow the slant ("/") and the one- and two-digit numbers precede the slant:

RAD-Abteilung 4/143 "Burggraf Dietrich von Altenburg" Zöschen
                          RAD-Abteilung 7/143 Bornitz
                          RADwJ-Lager 9/143 II Wussow
                          RADwJ-Lager 12/143 Brünnow

I wonder why yours is the other way around and whether or not that's relevant?

Also, 3/143 (or 143/3?) may be legitimate, but just not previously identified.
