Dear All,
I've had this little pilot's grouping in my collection since my early days of collecting. The medals were given by the pilot to a friend of mine. The old man wanted to keep the docs though which turned out to be a big mistake. He died and his relatives thru them away...
All I know about the man is his name and the unit # on the ID disc: Burkhardt HAESLER / 215 962.
Any info on the unit (also see the pin) and on the man himself is appreciated!
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Albert
