The SS Dienstalterliste of 01 Jul 1944 shows him as with the 4.SS Pol Div as an Aktiv Sturmbannfuhrer with 20/04/43 as a date of rank.
The Last Levy by A. Munoz is the last SS roster, dated 1 March 1945. This shows Dr. Reger on the 34.SS Freiwilligen Grenadier Division 'Landstorm Nederland' IVb Medical Staff. Oddly enough the date of rank is the same but the rank is Hauptsturmfuhrer. -

Yeah, that's a little weird. I have a ring document for him dated June '43, and listing him as an Obstubaf. He does show up some in the 4 SS Polizei history.Comment

the Dienstalterliste der SS der NSDAP dated 1.10.1944
confirm he was Sturmbannführer der Waffen SS at this date (20.4.43 date of seniority)
and always attached to 4 SS Pol Pz Gren division.
