    Aerial photo's?

I 'don't know if this is the right forum to post this, if not please move to the correct one.

I'm in search for aerial photo's made at the end of the war of Holland. Does anyone know where i can get these or buy scans?

    Thanks in advance

      hello Adrian,
thank you for your reply. I have checked that site several times but i can't find out how to view the aerial photo's. I thought it was free and most of the aerial photo's taking during WWII by the RAF where listed on it. The only thing i can see is DDay photo's, maybe you know more?

        Jasper -

This subject of World War II aerial photos at Keele University/U.K. and at the U.S. National Archives in WashDC has been discussed in depth on both Axis History Forum and on Feldgrau. This information you will find there is very comprehensive. Try using the SEARCH function on both sites and I think you will find all of the information you need. Basically, none of these aerial photos is free, except for a few samples you may find on the internet. I think Keele charges something like £ 30.00 per print. The U.S. National Archives also charges, but I don't recall how much. The U.S. National Archives not only has most or all of the aerial photos taken by the Allies during the war (Record Group 373.2 - millions of negatives and prints), but they also have all of the aerial photos taken by the Luftwaffe (Record Group 373.3 - 1,200,000 prints).

          Thank you for your reply.
Just received an email from evidence on camera with the following:

The do a research around my (or your) area of interest (AOI). This research will take about an hour and costs between 30 and 60 UK pounds (60 pounds an hour). A research fee will only be charged if coverage of the AOI was found. After this you will receive a list with flights which cover your AOI. You can then choose from the list.
We will deliver contact prints and/or high resolution scans at a cost of 50 pounds each. A single 600 dpi scan costs 25 pouds.

All in all pretty expensive. I will first do some researche in my province and maybe i can find some aerial photo's there.

          Thanks for the reply's

OUCH! Yes, that is pretty expensive.

If all else fails, try the U.S. National Archives because their charge is only around $20.00 - $25.00 for the research and the print, at least that's the fee they charged about 10 years ago.
