I,m looking for ANY info at all on this unit especially where they were during 1944. All help appreciated.

Nothing about the third company. I can only tell you that the Fl. Ausb Regt. 53 was in Belgien - north France in 1944.

Stab and I./Flieger-Rgt. 53 was in Brussels during summer 1944. It was a very large regiment with 47 officers and 4,700 NCOs and men on 1 July 1944. On 5 Sep 44 it was attached to 85. Infanterie-Div. for combat and decimated defending positions along the line of retreat. The remnants were then sent to Groningen/NE Holland on 11 September. No additional information.
