    Document in post #9: A note that says the Ehrenblatt is enclosed. Looks like it was sent from the General command of the 14th Panzer Corps to the 16th pz. division.

    #10: From Division to his unit, saying the Ehrenblatt is enclosed, and should be personally presented to Scheidemann.

    GREAT stuff here, congrats on finding the family, albeit sadly a bit late.

          What an incredible story! It's great that you are in contact with the family, but of course it is most unfortunate that you couldn't meet/speak with Herr Scheidemann in person, or let him know that one of his uniforms had survived the war and was being preserved and appreciated.

          I'm interested in hearing of any further developments.

            the EKI and PAB docs are signed by Hube, the 25 PAB i believe is signed by Ernst Collin.
            Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
