Help with Signature and image content

Can any one tell me the name in this signature? Also, is the patch DDAC or something else? I can't seem to find reference material to confirm it.

Lastly, an image of the reverse. Apparently, it was taken during the 1936 Olympics and may show one of the athletes.

Hi Chuck,

on the back of the second pic is written:

Weißwassergrund.

This is a valley with a little stream the Riesengebirge, now in the Czech Republik.

Riesengebirge is a mountain area.

Thank you Gerdan. Do you know if this mountain was used during one of the events in the 1936 Olympics ? I have it in my mind that this image was taken during such an event. I of course could be totally wrong about the content

As far as I know real Olympic games did not happen in the Riesengebirge but there ware a lot of possibilities for training for the games in the snow.

And the German travel agencies offered trips to see Germany and also the Riesengebirge during the time of the Olympic games in Berlin 1936.
