Enlisting/conscription

Ive got a question that may have a simple answer but if a man was doing RAD service could he be called up to the Whermacht or was he exempt from conscription until his RAD service was up? if not did he have to be officially discharged from RAD before joinning up? i ask this because i have a RAD discharge document whose dates tally with the same soldats wherpass and the dates he enlisted/was called up

Hi Jonathan, RAD service was usually immediately followed by call up to the armed forces. So I think you will find the dates are conventional.
