Looking for more info on DKiG recipient

Running a basic internet search I found a little info but I'm trying to find out more. The soldier I'm researching is Johann Knöpker and he was awarded the DKiG in 1944 it seams.

Thanks for any info or data you might have.

Yeah that was the basic info I pulled off the net. Anyone have any other information?

Also, what does the dr. stand for?

      Thanks.

I had to bump this one more time. Someone out there is bound to have some DKiG info.

          Thanks.
