    Military Service Translation Help Please

    A great opportunity has befallen me. I was contacted by the son of original German veteran of one of my named panzer wrappers. It came as a shock to me. He and his brother have put together his father's military record for me but in German. Can some one help me with the translation. Here it goes:

    1936: Eintritt als Fahnenjunker in das Panzerregiment 2 in Eisenach
    1937/38: Kriegsschule in Muenchen, Panzerschule in Wuensdorf.
    1.9.1938 Offizier (Leutnant)
    1940 Feldzug in Frankreich
    1940/41 auf dem Balkan
    1941/43 Russlandfeldzug
    Mai-Juli 1943 Abteilungsfuehrerlehrgang in Paris
    anschliessend Abteilungskommandeur im PzRgt2
    1943/44 Kampfhandlungen in Italien und in Russland
    Juni 1944 Generalstabs-Vorausbildungskursus bei der 371. Infanterie Division
    November 1944 Panzertruppenschule Krampnitz
    anschliessend
    Dezember 1944 bis Kriegsende: Generalstabslehrgang auf der Kriegsakaddemie, zunaechst in Hirschberg (Schlesien), dann in Bad Kissingen und zuletzt in Lenggries, Bayern.
    Mai 1945 Marschbefehl zur Heeresgruppe Sud bei linz, Osterreich.
    8 May 1945 Kufstein, in amerikanische Gefangenschaft

    Here is my attempt at translating this officer's military career path:
    1936;Entry as officer candidate in Panzerregiment 2 in Eisenach;
    1937/38 Officer's trainingschool in Munich, Armoured trainingschool in Wuensdorf;
    1.Sep.1938 promoted to 2nd Lt.;
    1940 Campaign in France;
    1940/41 Balkans ;
    1941/43 Campaign in Russia;
    May-July 1943 Bataillioncommander Training Course in Paris followed by Batallioncommand in Pz.Rgt. 2;
    1943/44 On active service in Italy and Russia;
    June 1944 Preparatory Course tobecome a General Staff Officer with 371.Inf.Div.;
    November 1944 Armoured Training School Krampnitz followed as below
    December 1944 to the end of the war: General Staff Training Course first in Hirschberg (Slesia), then in Bad Kissingen and finally in lenggries, Bavaria.
    May 1945 orders to report to Armygroup South near Linz, Austria;
    8.May 1945 at Kufstein P.O.W. of U.S. Forces until 8.Aug.1945 (POW Camp Heilbronn.)
