    Hallo,

among the missing German soldiers is a Major

Gotthold KNAPP , born 5 July 1916 in Strümpfelbach,

    missing since 15 Dec 1944.

    Could it be your guy?

Some more informations on KNAPP :

in the recent German phone book you will find in total 15 persons named KNAPP in the town Strümpfelbach (- Weinstadt) area.

In the town Reutlingen you can find still tody a painter named Gotthold Knapp. He could be a son or a godfather.
