I'll have a guess and say that #1 is Werner Meyer. It does look like him and the signature looks to be meyer but a period photo I have of him wearing his RK has him in a Oberstumf. tunic.

I don't think no. 1 is Meyer, because he was awarded the KC as an Obersturmfhr. The photo has been around for a long time on various websites, and may not be a real RKT.

I am still not convinced on #6 however, which is proving a very difficult spot indeed.

Thank you for your help, #6 & #8 are good photos and I am pleased to be able to put a name to the faces on these.
Any ideas though for #4 ? which is proving very difficult to establish the identitiy of.

Thanks for the post however, I do not think #1 shows 'Wiking' RKT Werner Meyer.
#1 shows an SS-Ustuf wearing an LSSAH monogram on his houlder board, whilst Werner Meyer was awarded the RKT as an SS-Ostuf and to my knowledge, did not serve in the LSSAH.

Many years ago I received a signed example of the photo which you posted direct from Werner Meyer himself and I am convinced that #1 does not show Werner Meyer.
Not only for the reasons stated earlier concerning his rank when the RKT was awarded and divisional unit insignia, but the signature bears no resemblance.
Although the #1 photo signature may well show a 'Meyer' it is not the Werner Meyer RKT.
This photo has been posted on numerous sites and quite possibly shows an 'unofficial' RKT.
