General Kempf, DKiG

Hi,

Can someone help me ID a General "Kempf" (not Werner) who was a DKiG Winner? It appears he won the DK while at least being at the rank of Oberst as I have a portrait photo of him w/o DK with Oberst boards. I do not think he is listed in in P&S DKiG book.

Thanks for the reply. No, he would have won the DKiG as either a General or Obertslt. It appears he is not listed in Patzwall/Scherzer.

The only Kempf i know of that reached Generalmajor rank was Siegfried Kempf though in his case a DKiS would seem more likely.

I do not have anything on him as a DkiG recipient. How do you know he would be a DKiG recipient? I do see photos of him on the AHF forum, but it seems he did not receive the EK2 and EK1 spange for WW2 and wears the EK1 of World War one (1914 version). He does however wear the KvK1 with sword shich suggest his DK is the Silver version.
