Hi -
I recently purchased a document grouping to Army Hauptmann Karl Beermann.
He could have progressed to a higher rank but that is the highest rank listed on the documents.
The documents that I have are for the following awards:
1. Hauptmann in 83rd Infantry Division - Wound Badge in Silver - dated January 14, 1943
2. Hauptmann (can't read the unit ink stamp) - Eastern Front Medal - dated September 1, 1942
3. Oberleutnant (can't read this one either) - Iron Cross Second Class - August 16, 1941
4. Oberleutnant in 1st Company 503 Infantry Regiment - Wound Badge in Black - September 1941
5. Leutnant in 7th Company 16 Infantry Regiment - Medal for Okt. 1, 1938 - dated January 26, 1940
6. Feldwebel - 12 Year Wehrmacht Service Award - dated October 2, 1936
7. Oberleutnant - 1st Company 503 Infantry Regiment - Infantry Assault Badge - dated September 1, 1941
Does anyone have more info on this Army Officer?
Since the last document is dated 1943, could he have been promted further.
Thank you in advance,
Vincent
