Commander of "Festung Kreta"

Hello!

Has anybody a commanders list of "Festung Kreta"? Any help on this would be more than appreciated.

Hello Gerd.
Kurt Mehner in " Die Deutsche Wehrmacht 1939-1945"
lists the following Befehlshaber:
Sep.1942 to 1.Jul.1944 Gen.Lt. (Lw) Bruno Braeuer;
1.Jul.1944 to 18.Sep.1944 Gen.d.Inf. Friedrich-Wilhelm Mueller;
18.Sep.1944 to 9.Oct.1944 Gen.Lt. Klopp ( apparently misspelled, should be Dr.jur. Ernst Klepp per Biblio series on German Generals);
9.Oct.1944 to 18.Nov.1944 Oberst (later, as of 1.Dec.1944 Gen.Maj.) Georg Benthack.
After the partial evacuation of Kreta the "Festung" status was no longer maintained.
Gen. Maj. Benthack remained in charge as commander of 133. Festungs Division, changed to Festungs- Div. Kreta effective 18.Jan.1945 until the capitulation. ( per above mentioned Biblio series also)
