Does anyone recognise this KC winner and what is he carrying on his back? Is that a water or food cannister?? Cheers, Torsten.

Hallo,

when one german helps another german, its absolut ok to speak in our language - my opinion!
So, if you feel Revellations and I are off-base (an American idiom meaning wrong) on this, then perhaps a moderator can step in and state the Wehrmacht-Awards policy on which language to use on the forum.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Certainly in Wehrmacht-Awards forums, English is the preferred language. But of course our subject is german and German is the second preferred language in my opinion (not the forum rule - but this is the paper related forum and german language is the key), occasional german messages are no problem even if 90% of the casual readers cannot read it at all.
If a reader is serious he will try to read messages in german using human and machine help. If you are not serious enough about the subject, maybe you can just pass by.

That will be difficult Torsten, not many facial features showing. It is interesting that he won the RK and is now doing KP duty! See what that got him!
The EK1 clearly seems to be "added" to the photo. Can you see, from the photo, if the wound badge an addition as well?
Looking closer, it looks like all the awards are added to the picture! Is that correct?
