Hi all,
I am wondering can anyone help me.
I have learned that when my Great Uncle (a NZ Bomber Pilot) was killed in 1941, a speech was read at his funeral in Koln, Germany.
It is called the "Beisetzungsbücher" and was read by the priest.
Aparantly it is speech given to all foriegn soldiers who died on German soil.
I would very much like to learn the text of this speech.
If anyone can help me locate this speech I would be hugely appreciative.
Best regards
Rob NZ
