Hi all:
I have a wooden souvenir plate, apparently picked up by a German soldier as they marched into Czechoslovakia 'Einmarsch in die Cechoslowakei 1938'. On the lower edge it has the soldier's name , etc. ' Obergefr. E. W. Schleh 14/ J.R. 75'. I understand this to mean 'Obergefreiter E.W. Schleh 14 Battalion of the 75th Infantry Regiment.' Is this correct? How can I learn more about this soldier and his unit??
